Join our 6-day Yoga & Wellness Retreat in Costa Rica February 6-11, 2027 where movement, mindfulness, nature, and community come together in one of the most beautiful places on earth.

This will be our 6th year hosting this retreat together, and it has become something truly special. Many guests return year after year, drawn by the magic of the location, the connection within the group, and the deep sense of renewal they experience.

Furthermore, you can customize your experience by joining excursions like horseback riding on the beach, ziplining or shopping in Tamarindo. Don’t worry, you will still have plenty of time to go to the beach or chill by the pool. Zero planning needed on your part, just sign up and have fun! You will be staying in one of several luxury properties in the resort community of Las Catalinas. This coastal town is right on the Guanacaste coast and is less than an hour from Liberia International Airport. The weather in February is typically hot and dry, so get ready for a sunny getaway!

Giving Back: A Heartfelt part of our Retreat

One of the most meaningful parts of our retreat each year is our Giving Back project, which often becomes a highlight for many of our guests.

Costa Rica Retreats is proud to partner with Finca La Estancia at Las Catalinas for our volunteer program. This retreat, we will return to a nearby elementary school to support programs that enrich the children’s lives and share the joy of giving back together.

There is something incredibly special about stepping outside of our own world and connecting with this local community. During our visit, we’ll spend time with the children, participate in activities together, and gain a glimpse into their daily lives.

Nothing warms our souls more than the opportunity to support others. For many of us, this experience leaves a lasting imprint on our hearts and becomes one of the most memorable moments of the retreat.

Jess Kahn, E-RYT 500, YACEP is an internationally recognized yoga educator, retreat leader, and holistic wellness coach known for curating transformative travel experiences that blend yoga, culture, and connection. As the founder of Jess Kahn Yoga, a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School (RYS-200 and RYS-300), Jess has spent more than a decade guiding students through practices that cultivate strength, mindfulness, and personal growth. Her work integrates yoga philosophy, movement, and holistic wellness, creating experiences that support both personal transformation and meaningful connection.

Jess has become widely known for her thoughtfully curated international retreats, where she leads groups to some of the world’s most beautiful destinations for immersive wellness experiences. Colleen Sullivan

Colleen began her yoga journey over 16 years ago as a way to find balance and relief from the daily pressures of life. “This practice is a gift I give myself each and every time I step onto my mat.”She is a 200-hour E-RYT yoga instructor, certified mindfulness meditation teacher, functional breathwork facilitator, and certified mental wellness coach. Through these disciplines, she guides powerful mind-body practices that support nervous system regulation and overall well-being.

She is passionate about sharing practical tools and mind-body practices that help people feel more calm, resilient, and energized—even in the midst of busy lives and everyday stress. Colleen frequently guest-facilitates at women’s retreats, where she shares life-changing mindfulness, movement, and nervous system practices that help people feel more calm, connected, and grounded in their bodies and minds.

She believes wellness is not one-dimensional, but rather a multifaceted approach that includes nervous system regulation, functional movement, and mindful nutrition. If you’re curious about new ways to feel more present, resilient, and experience life more fully, she would love to connect with you.

When she’s not on her mat, coaching families, or teaching in the studio, Colleen enjoys the outdoors and living an active, healthy lifestyle. Recently retired from corporate America, she relocated to sunny South Florida with her life partner, Lars, and their Australian labradoodle, Koda. Tennis and travel are among her greatest passions, and she also enjoys cooking nourishing meals and spending time with family and friends.

Rich Roe

Rich, owner of Costa Rica Retreats, has been a certified personal trainer since 1994. He has taught over 10,000 1- sessions and numerous classes to celebrities, rock stars, and fortune 500 execs.  Previously he owned a gym in San Diego for 10 years and now splits his time between Laguna Beach, California and Costa Rica. Rich is an experienced guide who has been leading retreats since 2015. When not leading retreats, he’s playing pickleball, teaching pickleball, hiking, mountain biking or traveling the world. As a Wilderness First Responder and formerly on the San Diego Mountain rescue team, you are in good hands with Rich.
