Our goal is for you to experience “Pura Vida”, the good life. You’ve worked hard and you deserve to have an incredible vacation. My wife Michele and I built Villa del Sol as a retreat center and a vacation rental. Just 45 minutes from Liberia International airport, Villa del Sol is part of the luxury, beach town of Las Catalinas. Most people enjoy our home in one of 4 ways:
- Luxury Vacation rental: 4 bedrooms, sleeps 10 with many amenities.
- Private tour/retreat: I’ll guide you and your group for a custom vacation
- Existing retreat: join a yoga or other scheduled retreat. Zero planning, pure fun.
- Hosting your own retreat: Yoga and other fitness professionals can run their own retreat here. Simply rent the house and I’ll provide all the info you need to host a fun and profitable event.
Whether you are coming for adventure, relaxation or connecting with nature, this part of Costa Rica is truly paradise. Situated in the Guanacaste region, enjoy the “Gold Coast” with great beaches, sunny skies and less humidity than the rest of the country. The villa is over 4000 sq. ft. with 4 bedroom suites, 5 bathrooms, a private pool, heated spa, full time help, amazing ocean views and many amenities. Guests have access to our private beach club, which is just a 3-minute walk, or to the beach, under a 5 minute walk through the car-free town.
With over 30 miles of on-site trails, a gear shop, restaurants and lots of nearby excursions (zip lining, ATV, horses, waterfalls, boat tours…), you can fill your vacation with fun. I’m happy to share my list of contacts, and you have a concierge team available to arrange tours and reservations. A typical day might start with a hike, fresh coffee and breakfast prepared by your “house mom”, hanging out at the beach club, and a sunset catamaran/snorkel tour.
My name is Rich Roe, and I’ve traveled around the world to over 50 countries before building this dream house in Costa Rica. I’ve worked as a fitness trainer and guide for over 30 years. My better half works in fashion and she has an equally strong passion for travel. Our Villa del Sol is truly the most amazing place on earth.
